After searching for word counts on all the speeches given at the DNC and RNC I came across this interesting post from Wired Magazine. Someone thankfully took the time to pipe all those speeches through wordle.

Not sure if it was intentional or not, but McCain's wordle looks alot like a coffin.

Last tuesday Brian Williams appeared on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Toward the end of the interview Williams said something to the effect of "you don't understand the pressure..." This statement was followed with an apparent jump cut as 8 or 10 seconds of the interview seemed to just disappear. The show went to commercial, and a few moments later returned without Williams.
It looks like the censored part might have been Jon Stewart responding to Brian William's comment about pressure in the real news business. Stewart apparently said:
"You've got to lie. I've just got to tell the truth."
